Recently I found myself stumped- I wanted to build strength in my legs (which are somewhat weak) but I could not think of anything besides the usual lunges and squats to build muscle strength. Both exercises were not exactly motivating to do. So began my search for something new.
I came across a new (ok not so new as she is already quite known) fitness site- Blogilates! Have you heard about it? Cassey Ho (the founder and the face of this site) is my new favorite cyber trainer. Cassey’s videos are fun to do and watch- she is motivating, TOUGH and does her very best to distract you while you’re cursing almost at her for the soreness that you are truly experiencing at that divine moment. Cassey is the real deal and she tells you how it is. Her motto, “You need to train like a beast to be a a beauty” is my new mantra. Every month she issues a new workout calendar. Each month is a complete new plan (no plan is ever repeated) and every monday a new exercise video is released. For those who are new (like me), she also has a beginner plan to follow. You need to sign up for her newsletter to gain access to these calendars or you can simply check out her videos via her youtube channel. And the best part- it’s all free.
